By now, the media has turned on the main power breakers to give Colin Kaepernack, a second string QB exactly what he wanted. Three weeks ago, Kaepernack, decided to show the highest disrespect for our nation, our military and our very way of life. Some may argue and that is their right; that is why we have more than our share of random acts of stupidity. We have chaos.
Kaepernack, refuses to stand during the National Anthem and seems to believe that the NFLis his stage to make a statement and insult our military and our American way of life. His statements and uneducated doctrines of reasons drew worldwide ad nausea. He notched it down to dropping a knee recently I believe, so he could be seen more easily for the press. This was Kaepernack’s way of making a statement and/or displaying a public grudge in front of a worldwide audience.
What he apparently seemed to miss right up front, is that this venue is an NFL game that has been a time honored American tradition for nearly a century and NOT a political platform. As they say, there “is a time and place” for everything. Professional sport players are certainly extremely overpaid and like politicians never held to the same standards like ‘ordinary folks’. They never are held accountable for their actions and like politicians have a different set of standards established for themselves.
For children, they are role models and for those who earned it have set the examples most deservedly both on and off the field. With that in mind, children are like clay and are molded by how they are educated, see and hear from those around them embracing their role models; their parents, teachers and celebrities such as their sport stars. Their behavior is molded (nurtured) in that person’s character and actions. Right now, in classrooms across America, thousands of children have adapted to sitting and kneeling at the singing of the National Anthem because Colin Kaepercrap told them this is the right thing to do. That black people are oppressed by white people and racism is now more alive in America than ever before. Children are following the likes of the great scholar Kaepertramp in a football uniform.
Have we forgotten how impressionable children can be? Have you? Apparently, Kaeperscum and his goon squad of Black Panther posers have? The only racists I see and the perpetrators of black and white hate are the ones taking a knee and not taking a stand for American pride and unity.
Colin Kaepernick signed a 6 year, $114,000,000 contract with the San Francisco 49ers, including a $12,328,766 signing bonus, $61,000,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $19,000,000. In 2016, Kaepernook will earn a base salary of $11,900,000, a roster bonus of $2,000,000 and a workout bonus of $400,000. He’s right, this is black oppression. Law Enforcement and Military who put their lives on the line EVERY DAY do not make this money in an entire life time.
President Obama who backed Kaepergoon and said on National television that he has the right to take a knee or sit during our nation’s Anthem was the same President in 2008 who did not wear an American flag lapel or cross his arm across his chest during the National Anthem either. The First Amendment for your right to free speech. Well, what the hell happened to the rest of our Constitutional Rights starting with the one after that?
President Barack Obama has no problem making disgusting, untrue assertions about cops being racist at a funeral for murdered cops yet does not give major speeches on the epidemic of black-on-black crime. Why, because the President had and still has his private agenda we know about. An agenda that does not favor any type of leadership. An agenda that turns his back on our law enforcement, military and puts a knife in the back of our once united nation. The first black President in office.
Back in the 1960’s when the Watts Riots were in full gear, we had a black leader that did make a difference. We had peaceful protests. We had a voice of reason that people of both white and black colors could hear. That man truly made change in America while others just spewed about it. In the face of diversity, he just did not open his big mouth, he placed his boots on the volatile ground and made peace amongst controversy at its most heated time. Martin Luther King was transparent about change and brought a nation together with mutual respect and words of inspiration and not acts of random violence. Most of all, he was not even an overpaid, overzealous government servant.
There is still anger but that anger results in riots. Riots of blacks against blacks. Blacks beating and killing random white people and of course rioting against police. Pillaging their own neighborhoods, arson, rape, theft and murder all the while demanding respect? Burning down your neighbors stores, cars, and tenements buildings? How do you demand or command any respect when you act like an uncaged animals and commit acts of unconscious criminal acts? Your neighbor whether he or she is black, white, yellow or purple is not the enemy. If you are seeking an answer as the men and women in blue are also, we need to look at the man in the oval office. We, are not the enemy. We need to STAND TOGETHER. We are all angry but you need to focus and channel that negative energy where it needs to be directed.
All politicians except for one right now were all lawyers at one point. They make the laws at the expense of your very liberty. They are supposed to be public servants. They are supposed to work for you. Be guided by principles, not color. The fight and terror is overseas and they are bringing it home. We do not need to fear our neighbor. We need to “Know thy Enemy” and Love our Neighbor. If I was the NFL commissioner, I would fine Kaepercrap and suspend him but that would make no sense. I would make him the team Waterboy and make him go to group therapy.
Next game, I want to see these professional football players act like professionals and leaders. When that anthem plays, I want to see black and white standing tall shoulder to shoulder with their hands over their f****ing hearts. I want to see Police Officers and Military Personnel amongst those ranks also. Stand tall. Be a proud American. We are all in this together.
“Nothing in the World is more dangerous than sincere ignorance & conscientious stupidity”
